Standard user program

Figure 1-4: Overview of the standard user program
OB1
The standard user program runs in OB1.
Since this application example deals with the connection of an inductive, clocking
safety switch, no functionality is required in the standard user program and the
OB1 therefore does not call instructions.

Safety program

Figure 1-5: Overview of the safety program
OB123
The safety program runs in the OB123 or in the "MainSafety".
This calls the "InductiveClocking" function block, as well as the "ACK_GL"
instruction for global reintegration.
1.2.2.1
"InductiveClocking" instruction
The "InductiveClocking" FB is called once for each safety switch with its own multi-
instance in the F-runtime group.
The functionality of the "InductiveClocking" FB consists in the evaluation of the
switching state of the safety switch. To do this, it supplies the safety switch with a
"pulse" clock signal and evaluates its "sensorSignal" signal state. If the attenuation
is correct, the "InductiveClocking" outputs an "enable" enabling signal; otherwise
the enable is reset.
