Troubleshooting
If you experience trouble with your camera, try the lk)llowing solutions.

Check the items below, and refer to "Cyber-shot Handbook."
If a code such as "C/E:V1VI:V1VI" appears on the screen, relcr to "Cyber-sbot
Handbook."

Remove the battery pack, and insert the battery pack again after about one
minute, and turn on the power.

Open the lens cover, and press the RESET button
located on the bottom using a fine-tipped object, and
turn on the power.

• The lens cover is not fully opened. Open the cover until it clicks.
The power turns off suddenly.
• lfyou do not operate the camera for about three minutes x_hilethe pm_er is on, the camera
turns off automatically to prevent wearing down the battery pack. Turn on the camera again
(page 15).
• The battery pack is dead. Replace it with a ne_ one.
