Troubleshooting
If you experience trouble with your camera, try the lk)llowing solutions.
0 Check the items below, and refer to "Cyber-shot Handbook."
If a code such as "C/E:V1VI:V1VI" appears on the screen, relcr to "Cyber-sbot
Handbook."
0 Remove the battery pack, and insert the battery pack again after about one
minute, and turn on the power.
O Open the lens cover, and press the RESET button
located on the bottom using a fine-tipped object, and
turn on the power.

If _ou do the operation above, the date and time setting is button
cleared.
O Consult your Sony dealer or local authorized Sony service facility,

Cannot turn on the camera.
• Install the battery pack correctly (page 11).
• The battery pack is discharged. Install charged batte U pack (page 13).
• The batte U pack is dead. Replace it with a nex_ one.
• Use a recommended battery pack (page Ill).
• The lens cover is not fully opened. Open the cover until it clicks.
The power turns off suddenly.
• lfyou do not operate the camera for about three minutes x_hilethe pm_er is on, the camera
turns off automatically to prevent wearing down the battery pack. Turn on the camera again
(page 15).
• The battery pack is dead. Replace it with a ne_ one.
