Troubleshooting

Corrective Action
Check hose and fittings for leaks and correct
Inspect hose for debris or loose inner liner in hose
Clean strainer
Cut a notch or "V" in end of suction hose
Run pump with discharge hose removed to clear air lock
Replace or repair pump
Disassemble pump and inspect rollers
Replace seals
Check strainer and clean it regularly
Inspect suction hose and repair as necessary
Check hose and connections for leaks
Use pipe joint sealant and retighten connections
Check relief valve and correct setting
Replace gauge
Replace seals
Replace nozzles
Repair pump
Tighten all fittings and hoses between pump and tank
Remove and clean parts
Remove suction line and clean-check tank and strainer
Tighten all fittings - replace hose if necessary
Replace hose
Make sure suction hose is tightly secured. Run pump with
discharge hose removed to remove air lock from pump
Loosen endplate bolts. Squirt oil into ports to help free rotor.
Retighten bolts.
Disassemble pump and remove objects
Replace seal
Inspect shaft and tighten coupler
Reduce PTO or engine speed
Replace rotor or pump
Clean strainer
Inspect suction hose - replace if necessary
Clear debris
Straighten or replace hose if necessary
Replace rollers
Clean strainer
Clean nozzles - replace nozzles if necessary
Clear blockage and if necessary replace hose
Close slightly
