GAIN (p.43)
(1) Press GAIN. The gain is locked at the actual level. (2) Turn the CONTROL dial to adjut the desired gain
level. You can select from 8 gain levels. from -3dB to +18 dB.
WHITE BALANCE (p.37)
e Each time you press WHT BAL, the mode changes: No indicator (auto) — of (one-push adjustment) + «
(outdoors) — * (indoors), cyclically.
¢ When you press the nS button in one-push adjustment mode. you can lock the white balance and record
scenes without being affected by the ambient light.
FOCUS (p.34)
e When you set the FOCUS switch to MANUAL, you can adjust the focus manually regardless of the setting to
the AUTO LOCK switch.
e As long as you push the FOCUS switch in the direction of the arrow (PUSH AUTO) during manual focus
mode, you can shoot with automatic focusing.
PROGRAM AE Modes
You can select from four PROGRAM AE modes to fit the shooting situation. Set the AUTO LOCK switch to the
center position. then select the desired mode by pressing PROGRAM AE. Each time you press the button. the
indicator inside the viewfinder changes: & (Portrait) > ®& (Sports) >
A(Aperture Priority)
S(Shutter
Priority) -> No indicator(Manual), cyclically.
