White balance adjustment makes white subjects look white and gets more natural color balance for camera
recording. You can obtain better results by adjusting the white balance manually under the following conditions:

Adjusting the White Balance
(1) Slide the AUTO LOCK switch down to the center position. (2) Press WHT BAL repeatedly to select the
appropriate white balance mode. Each time you press the button, the mode (indicator inside the viewfinder)
changes: Auto (no indicator) -> One-push (x81) — Outdoor (* ) — Indoor (:9:), cyclically.
To Return to Automatic White Balance Mode
Press WHT BAL until no indicator appears in the viewfinder or slide the AUTO LOCK switch up to green
position.
