Poor Tilling Quality
Possible Cause
1. Check that the throttle
lever is in the FAST
position.
2. Check the drag bar
depth setting.
Engine speed is too
slow to till well.
Drag bar adjustment set
too high.
3. Check the tines.

Tines dull, worn, or
damaged.
Wrong tines installed.
Tines installed incorrectly.
Correction
Move the throttle to the
FAST position|(p. 11).
Lower the drag bar|(p. 21)
Replace the tines if nec-
essary.
Install the correct tines.
Install the tines correctly.
