    FEATURES & ADVANTAGES With the LISSMAC masonry work platforms, trend-setting standards are set in terms of economic efficiency, cost savings and ease of operation. The MAB provides support for workers enabling them to complete their work ergonomically. Due to its short set-up times, it can be used very flexibly.
  • Page 6 Instructions for action in a given order The warning notes contained are not exhaustive. Lissmac cannot predict every possible hazard. The suitable safety rules and precautions are to be followed as with any other machine, in regards to the working method and operation.

The Operating Manual contains important information on how to operate the machine in a safe, proper and economical manner.

    The MAB may only be used on level, paved ground or floor slabs with sufficient load-bearing capacity. Moving is only permitted via the marked lifting points and forklift pockets with suitable equipment. The MAB may only be moved horizontally, empty and in the lowered position with the LISSMAC wheel set in the working area.

    1.2. Organisational measures Always keep the operating instructions within easy reach at the place of use of the masonry work platform. In addition to the operating instructions, observe and instruct generally applicable legal and other binding regulations for accident prevention and environmental protection. Such obligations may also concern, for example, the handling of hazardous substances or the provision/wearing of personal protective equipment or road traffic regulations.

    1.3. Choice of personnel and qualification; fundamental obligations Only people who are at least 18 years of age have received training in operating the work platform and have been expressly commissioned with controlling the work platform are allowed to operate the platform on their own.
  • Page 13 The work platform must not be overloaded. Observe the permissible load. Loading may only be carried out in the lowered position. For a side pull-out, the permissible load capacity is 150 kg. This serves purely as a walking surface and is not intended for placing loads on.

    1.5. Note relating to special types of danger 1.5.1. Electrical power Only use original fuses with the prescribed amperage. In case of malfunctions in the electrical power supply, switch off the masonry work platform immediately. Only carry out maintenance or repair work when the masonry work platform is disconnected from the power supply.

    Appoint an expert instructor for the hoisting work. Only lift and lash the masonry work platform properly with lifting gear at the marked crane eyes in accordance with the operating instructions. Only use a suitable transport vehicle with an adequate load capacity. Secure the load properly.

    4.3. Electrical Connection Electrical Connection The power source must correspond to the operating voltage indicated on the type plate (400V or 230V) and must have a fuse (FI/RCD). This protective device must be tested for function before starting work. The mains disconnection device is the CEE plug. Up to three further MABs can be linked to one MAB on one supply line.

    OPERATION Enter platform via ground access. Load up stone packs and tools. For loading, completely replace any railing segments that have been removed. Before each lifting and lowering operation, make sure that the travel path and the danger zone around the platform are clear. Move the platform to the desired height with the control element.

    ACCESSORIES 8.1. Wheel kit Function The wheel set allows the working platform to be moved manually on one level. WARNING Danger of crushing on the working platform On sloping terrain, the working platform can get out of control and crush people. Only move the working platform when there are no more persons or objects on it.

Set and tighten the connecting brackets. Moving The working platform can be transported to the site as a complete unit by crane or forklift truck. Place the base frame at the place of use and align it horizontally using the spirit level in the frame.

    8.3. Use in a "double pack" Function Two working platforms are stacked on top of each other, connected to each other and thus the working height is doubled. WARNING Risk of falling The minimum fall height increases to 2.8m. Serious to fatal injuries possible due to fall. Only leave the working platform via the ladder when it is fully lowered.
  • Page 40 Assembly Place the working platforms on top of each other. The long sides must be parallel and the outside of the right spars (the side with the connection box) must be flush. Place two connecting clips on each side near the lifting eyes as shown and tighten.

    WARRANTY The warranty for this machine is 12 months. Warranty is only provided for the wear parts listed below if the wear is not due to operation. Wear parts are parts which undergo operation-dependent wear during the intended use of the machine. These parts have varying service lives, depending on the intensity with which they are used.
