■ Allows you to focus even if the subject is not in the cen¬
ter of the viewfinder, {Example 1)
• If there Is an obstruction between the subject and the
camera, the camera will accurately focus on the subject.

• If you are taking a picture through glass, the camera
focuses on the subject Instead of the glass. (-> p. 44)
