ELECTRICAL MALFUNCTION
PROBLEM
Unit electrically dead.
~~

Power supply circuit breaker
trips often,
will not stay "on",
Thermal overload protector in
main pump motor trips often.

Thermal overload protector trips
often in ei!her or both motors
(pump and oil burner)

Electrical shock from cabinet
or
spray wand.

CAUSE
No power to the machine.
Defective power cord
Defective main on/off
switch.
Faulty or loose wiring.
Defective motors.
Short circuit in washer
or
elsewhere on the circuit,
Undersized circuit being used, or too much total load
on the circuit.
Supply voltage is low.
Undersized extension cord causing undervoltage
to washer.
Partially or totally clogged spray nozzle overburdens
motor.
Undersized spray nozzle in use.
Supply voltage is low.
Undersized extension cord causing undervoltage to
washer.
Electrical leakage exists and WASHER IS NO1
PROPERLY GROUNDED.
SOLUTION
Check circuit breaker.: Check for defective electrical
outlet.
Repair or replace bad cord.
Test switch(es) and replace
if
defective.
Check switch and motor wiring for solid connections.
Have motors tested. Repair or replace if defective.
Check washer (and other loads on the same circuit) for
faulty wiring, loose wire, etc.
Put the washer on a larger circuit. or remove other
loads from the existing ,circuit.

230V units require a minimum of 230V. Check line
supply.
Contact electrician or supplier for size and length.
