3.4 PREPARE THE AIR CLEANER
Clean and oil the air filter before your first use. Check the maintenance section for a
complete cleaning guide.

Unscrew and remove the air filter maintenance panel.
2.
Unscrew the air filter cover and remove the filter.
3.
Clean the air filter with soap and water or solvent and squeeze dry (do not
wring out).
4.
Soak in clean engine oil.
5.
Squeeze (do not wring) out all excess oil and reinstall. Replace the filter if it
is damaged.
NOTE
Running the engine without the air filter will quickly degrade the engine
