22. You will be installing various wires for switches, controls and jacks
very early in the assembly procedure. This is contrary tQ normal building
or manufacturing practice but will permit progressive testing of completed
stages. Follow the suggestion at the end of Stage CR for tying down
these wires for protection and your convenience during further assembly
work.
23. Examine your FX- circuit board. Notice that the side with
silkscreened parts outlines is covered almost completely by tinned copper
or "foil.• This is called a groundplane. This side is the Top or
COMPONENT SIDE of the board. All parts (except SMT C73,75A,75B)
will be mounted on this side. The other side has most of the printed '
circuit traces and is called the Bottom or CIRCUIT SIDE.
