'X' indicates the installation of a diode in that position.
Each one of these channels ALSO requires a diode installed at the
'Simplex' position.
Before installing diodes, please be sure that you understand the
principles of binary programming explained in detail in the first pages of
this Section.
In lieu of constructing diode bridges and wiring the channel selector
switch, you may elect to build your own switching system, using DIP,
slide or toggle switches. Do such projects ONLY AFTER your transceiver
is finished and working.
[ ] [ ] Channel Switch S2 may be installed at whatever point in the
procedure that is most convenient for you. Its purpose is to apply
+
SV to the desired diode bridge. Connect the desired channel
positions on the switch to corresponding matrix channel rows
using 2" lengths of hookup wire.
