It requires to be replaced at regular intervals to extend the lifetime. For the replacement, contact us. (It requires a replacement charge separately. Do not replace it by yourself, as there is a risk of electric shock.) AMJ series...
1-2 Overview AMJ series is a compact, high speed, high voltage operational amplifier. The high voltage know-how accumulated by Matsusada with many years’ experience was brought into design and manufacturing of the product.
Check the front panel, rear panel, top, and the chassis for dents, etc. If an abnormality is found, contact both Matsusada Precision and the delivery company. 2-3 Handling Precautions As for the input voltage, refer to this instruction manual and the indication on the rear panel.
When welding near the product, disconnect all wires (input/output wiring, signal wires) from the unit before the work. Ensure safety in the event of a malfunction. When the failure occurs, unplug the AC input cable from the outlet. AMJ series...
・ The voltage, current, and power shown in the table are output to the output terminals of the unit. Never touch the output and sense terminals while the unit is running or just after turning it off. ・ Please do not put frequencies exceeding the response speed on the input terminal of the external control voltage. AMJ series...

Otherwise, it may cause damage to the product. Be sure to electrically ground the product with the AC input terminal. Otherwise, it is dangerous for the user. Do not use the supplied AC input cable in any other purposes. AMJ series...
3. If the other end which is not equipped with a plug, attach cramp terminals there, and then, connect them to a breaker. Connect L (Live line), N (Neutral line), and (Ground). The product has the AC fuse in the L. Wrong connection may cause electric shock or fire. AMJ series...
Be sure to ground the GND terminal. Inappropriate grounding could cause electric shock or damage to the product. In case a short circuit or discharge of the load is expected, make the ground wire thicker and shorter. AMJ series...
・ Output voltage monitor terminal (Vmoni) Refer to [6-3 Output Voltage Monitor]. ・ External output ON/OFF terminal Refer to [6-4 External Output ON/OFF]. Never touch the BNC terminal and connected devices. Take proper safety measures such as covering them. AMJ series...

Step time: In some cases, responsiveness might be indicated with rise time. Generally, the rise time of amplifier with a response speed (=frequency bandwidth) fc [Hz] is given by a formula below. tr ≒ 0.35/fc The rise time tf is equal to tr. Vcon-in 100% 90% HVout 0% 10% 0% tr tf AMJ series...
5 INPUT/OUTPUT Connection 5-4-5 Slew rate The responsibility of AMJ series is determined with slew rate (SR). The step response is as shown in the following figure. The slew rate is the amount of voltage change per unit time which is expressed as SR = △V/μS.
+0.5 +1.5 Do not input voltage more than ±10V in the input terminal of the external control voltage (Vcon-in). And do not input frequency exceeding the response speed specified in [3-1 Product Lineup]. If not, they cause malfunction. AMJ series...

It has an overcurrent protection function. In the event of an abnormality, the output voltage drops to limit the output current to approximately 105% of the rated current, and the function can protect the product and load against damage. AMJ series...
Avoid continuous operation with high frequency that could reduce the output amplitude of the product. That will distort the output waveform, increasing internal loses, and cause a failure. For safety, be sure to ground the GND terminal. AMJ series...

7 Option Option The following options are available for AMJ series. Option Item Description With this option, the current value of the overcurrent protection can be set by supplying voltage (+0.5Vdc to +10.5Vdc). The input voltage of +10.5Vdc corresponds to the rated current value.
8 Troubleshooting Troubleshooting 8-1 Troubleshooting Steps "Something wrong?" If you think a failure has occurred, first turn off the unit and check the following items. They are not always a failure in the following cases, check the unit once again before requesting our services.
