6.7.2 Viewing a Video – Advanced
The advanced view allows the user to view the video frame-by-frame. When the page is load, it will always
take a while until the first frames are available to be viewed. As soon as this is the case, the controls will
become available, and the first frame of the video is load. The video controls are "Play", "Pause", "Frame
Back", "Frame Forward" and "Stop", see Figure 16.
Figure 16: Advanced Load video view
Like the simple player, a "" button is available to get back to the video selection page and a download
button, which will be available as soon as the video is completely loaded (greyed out in the figure). Note
that pressing the "" button while the loading process is still running, it will be aborted automatically. The
last button on the right with the red "X" is to abort the current load. All images converted and loaded until
abort is pressed will still be available to view. The button becomes unavailable once the video is fully loaded.
To know if the video is still loading, a green progress bar is displayed at the bottom of the page. Pop-up
messages will notify about start and end of loading process.
