3. C SSETTE DECK SECTION
1. EJECT BUTTON
Pressing this button opens and closes the adjacent cassette door.
2. RECORD LEVEL LED
Three-segment LED meters indicate the record input level of the selected source.
3. DISPL Y (T PE DIRECTION)
The current tape operation direction is shown on the display.
4. RECORDING MUTE LED
During the recording mute for four seconds, the led light on the display panel will blink tree times.
5. RECORDING MUTE BUTTON
During recording, press the REC MUTE button on the front panel to record about four seconds of silence and
then pause recording. If you want to record more than four seconds of silence, press and hold the REC MUTE
button to create a silence of longer than four seconds.

6. PL Y DIRECTION SWITCH (DECK B ONLY)
a. : Single-side PL Y or REC (tape stops when reaching the end).
b. : Side to Side B to STOP, Side B to STOP (tape stops when end of side B is reached).
