TO SEARCH FOR A PARTICULAR CHAPTER/TRACK

Hi-Lite scan (CD or audio part of CDV)
When HILITE/NTRO on the remote control unit is pressed
during stop mode, playback starts from a point 1 minute after
the beginning of the track, and each track is played for about
8 seconds. The INTRO indicator is lit on the display during Hi-
Lite Scan mode.
(On the screen, "Hilite" is displayed.)

When HILITEANTRO on the remote control unit is pressed,
the beginning of each chapter is played for about 8 seconds.
The INTRO indicator is lit during Intro Scan mode.

Hi-Lite Scan can be carried out from the desired elapsed
time of the track.
During playback, press HILITE/INTRO at
the point you want to start Hi-Lite Scan playback. The piayer
memorizes the minute and second of the point and Hi-Lite
Scan playback is carried out from the memorized minute
and second on each track.
During the desired chapter or track is played, press PLAY/
STILL (>/mI) or PLAY (®). The unit enters play mode.

STILL (>/»I4) or PLAY (m). The unit enters play mode.
e With CDV, Intro Scan starts with the video part, and then
the audio part will be played with Hi-Lite Scan.

With discs which do not contain the chapter number, Intro
scan cannot be operated.
