AUTO SENSOR EXPLANATION, K FACTORS AND POWER LEVELS
Understanding Auto Sensor Cooking
Balance of cooking time (T2 time)
T2 = 50 X K
Remember, the T1 time starts after the 50 second period. The
coefficient K is programmed
into the microprocessor memory
and they are listed in the following tables along with the P1 and
P2 powers. (See Fig. 18)
Some examples of caiculating the T2 time
after the 50 second period, and the Auto program selected is
COOK A3:
T2=TI
XK
== 2 min. and 45 sec. X 2.5
== 160 sec. X 2.5
= 400 sec.
= 6 min. and 40 sec.
Example 2: If the T1 time is measured to be 15 minutes and 30 seconds
after the 50 second period, and the Auto program selected is
COOK A?:
T2=T1
XK
= 15 min. and 30 sec. X 0.4
== 980 sec. X 0.4
= 372 sec.
== 6 min. and 12 sec.
Example 3: If More pad is tapped with Example 2:
T2=Ti
XK
= 15 min. and 30 sec. X 0.5
= 930 sec. X 0.5
= 465 sec.
= 7 min. and 45 sec.
NOTE: If using a calculator please remember the calculator rounds off in
decimal numbers, so the T2 time will come out slightly different
than if seconds are changed back to minutes by regular long
division. When using a calculator, simply maitiply the tenths by 60
to get the correct number of seconds.
