    Section 2 Introduction How Your Dryer Works CYLINDER LINT FILTER HEATER DUCT EXHAUST AIR DUCT VALVE D282SE3A The dryer uses heated air to dry loads of laundry. When the motor is started, the exhaust fan pulls room temperature air in through louvers at the rear of the dryer and over the heat source (burner flame for gas and heating element for electric).
