  • Page 8 SETUP AND PROGRAMMING 1. Selection of “Continuous” or “Step” mode. a. Supply power to the GC274A. b. Simultaneously press the STOP and RIGHT button of the GC274A for at least 6 seconds: The Green LED will first illuminate and then blink a few times. When the Green LED extinguishes, the operation has been completed To switch modes (continuous to step or step to continuous) repeat step 1 above.
  • Page 9 3. Programming the GC274A to a Remote handset or Wall switch a. Supply power to the GC274A b. Press the program button on the GC274 (Fig 2) the Green LED will start blinking. c. Press STOP (Fig. 1): The Green LED will stop blinking and remain illuminated. d.
  • Page 10 7. Programming the GC274A to a Motion Sensor (98GC779G) This procedure will require opening up the motion sensor module by following the directions below; a. Remove the 2 small cross head screws which secure the motion sensor to the mounting bracket.
  • Page 11 c. Remove the 4 cross head screws holding the module together. Remove the back plate and silicone insert. See Fig.3. Magnet Base plate Silicone Insert Fig.3 d. Turn the base plate over (Magnet down). Then place the motion sensor on top of it so that the magnet is aligned with the reed switch.

  • Page 18 PROGRAMMING PROCEDURE Ensure that the vehicle ignition circuit is switched OFF or the parking brake is engaged (whichever is applicable to the installation), and the awning is extended before connecting the 98GC1102 to the 12 volt DC circuit. a) Connect the 98GC1102 to a suitable 110v AC power supply. b) Connect the 98GC1102 to the G-Link Motor controller using the white connector (see figure 1).

  • Page 23 PRODUCT DESCRIPTION The GC1149A Dry Contact Module allows the user to interface their Dry Contact Systems (Crestron, Switch Input or RV-C) with our G-link Controllers. This module will accept Retract, Stop and Extend commands from the Dry Contact System and send an RF signal to any programmed G-link Controller or Remote Motor.
  • Page 24 MODES OF OPERATION The GC1149A has 3 modes of operation; 1. Continuous Mode (Default) – A single press of a command button will allow the awning to fully extend or retract unless interrupted by the STOP button. 2. Step Mode (Selected) – The command button must be held down to allow the awning to fully extend or retract.

    INSTALLATION GUIDELINES The purpose of this device is to automatically send a signal to the motor controller of the fitted awning to fully retract the awning in windy weather conditions. In new installations the 98GC779 Motion sensor is preprogrammed at the factory. Replacement Motion sensors will need to be programmed.

    Programming the Motion Sensor (98GC779G) Preparation for Pairing Remove the 2 small Phillips screws which secure the motion sensor to the mounting bracket. The base of the module is magnetized so will need to be gently lifted off. Fig.1 Then turn it over. Fig.2 Page 8 of 22...
