terms of the Limited Product Warranty, the Limited Product Warranty will control.
Fitbit warrants to the original purchaser that the included Fitbit-branded hardware
product and/or accessories, if new, shall be free from defects in materials and
workmanship under normal use for a period of one year from the date of purchase,
except that the warranty period is two years from the date of purchase by the original
purchaser anywhere in the European Economic Area and Switzerland. If the included
Fitbit-branded hardware product and/or accessories are certified refurbished, by or on
behalf of Fitbit, the applicable warranty period may be shorter.
Fitbit does not warrant against normal wear and tear nor damage caused by accident
or misuse.
To obtain warranty service, please contact Fitbit customer support via www.help.fitbit.
com. Subject to the full terms and detailed warranty information on www.fitbit.com/
legal/returns-and-warranty, if you submit a valid claim under this warranty, Fitbit will,
at its option and to the extent permitted by law, either repair or replace the defective
hardware product or accessory. This warranty is valid only in the jurisdictions where the
product is sold by Fitbit or its authorised resellers. Fitbit may require you to furnish proof
of purchase details and/or comply with other requirements before receiving warranty
service. The benefits provided for by this warranty are in addition to the rights provided
under your statutory warranty rights.
For Australian Consumers: Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded
under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a
major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of
acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. The Limited
