# Rear Wheel
Removal
Support your motorcycle securely and

raise the rear wheel off the ground using
a maintenance stand or a hoist.
2.
CRF1000D/D II
Release the parking brake.
3.
CRF1000A/A II
Cover both sides of the rear wheel and
brake caliper with protective tape or cloth.
CRF1000D/D II
Cover both sides of the rear wheel and
brake calipers with protective tape or
cloth.
