Before connecting the wiring, be sure to turn the circuit breaker off . After all wiring arrangements are complete, turn the circuit breaker on.
If the power supply wiring is mistakenly connected to a terminal board other than the power supply terminal board, the devices to
be connected to this controller or this controller will malfunction. After connecting the wiring, confi rm that the power supply wiring is
properly connected.
 How to Attach the Ring
Pressure Terminal
 For power supply wiring
• Process the end of each wiring, and attach
the ring pressure terminal (fi eld supplied
item).

 For shield wiring
• Process the end of the each wiring, and
attach the ring pressure terminal (fi eld
supplied item).
Remove wiring coat.
Cover with the tape.
Attach ring pressure
terminal.
Attention
• Ground the shield on both sides of shield
wiring, otherwise an operation error from noise
may occur.

Connecting to External Equipment

 Non-voltage contact "a"
 Keep the external I/O wiring lengths of 20 meters or less. If a longer
length is needed, use a Communication Adaptor or relay.
 A voltage of DC5 V (approx. 10 mA) is applied to the contact to detect
the input signal.

• Do not run the inter-unit control wiring through the same conduit as the power supply wiring, or
run close to the power supply wiring (maintain at least 30 cm separation).
• Use diff erent inter-unit control wiring and power supply wiring so they can be diff erentiated
visually.

Inter-unit
control wiring
Use this screw when connecting the shield
for the inter-unit control wiring to ground. (FG*)
*: Functional Ground
Connect to inter-unit control wiring (LINK1)
Connect to inter-unit control wiring (LINK2)
 Do not apply an external voltage to the input terminal.
 The contact allowable voltage and current for the output signal terminal
are max. DC30 V and 0.5 A respectively.
