5. European Union Only: This appliance can be used by children
aged from 8 years and above if they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a
safe way and if they understand the hazards involved.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children
unless they are older than 8 years and supervised. Keep the
appliance and its cord out of reach of children aged less than
8 years.
6. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including
children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities,
or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
7. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play
with the appliance. Children shall not play with the appliance.
8. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by
or near children.
9. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or
after the appliance malfunctions, or is dropped or damaged in
any manner. Return appliance to the nearest Authorised
Service Facility for examination, repair, or electrical or
mechanical adjustment.
10. The use of attachments/accessories not recommended or sold
by KitchenAid may cause fire, electric shock, or injury.
11. Always attach a plug to the appliance first, then plug cord into
the wall outlet. To disconnect, turn any control off ( ) then
remove plug from wall outlet.
12. WARNING: Do not remove the Lid while the water is boiling.
13. CAUTION: Position the Lid so that steam is directed away from
the Handle.
14. CAUTION: Insure that the appliance is switched off before
removing from its stand.
15. Never pour water on hot or burning fat.
16. Never attempt to carry the hot appliance. Spilled hot fat may
cause severe injuries or burns.
17. The appliance is only to be used with the Stand provided.
18. Do not use the appliance outdoors.
19. Do not let the cord hang over the edge of table or counter, or
touch hot surfaces.
