Depending on your specific Installation Door Control Hardware model, other accessories may be included with your garage door opener.     Assembly 1 Attach the Rail to the Garage Door Opener 2 Tighten the Chain Loosen the inner nut and lock washer on the trolley threaded shaft. Tighten the outer nut until the chain is a 1/2" above the base of the rail at the midpoint of the rail. Re-tighten the inner nut.

  • Page 8 Installation 1 Determine the Header Bracket Location OPTIONAL Unfinished CEILING Ceiling MOUNT FOR HEADER Header Wall To prevent possible SERIOUS INJURY or DEATH: BRACKET • Header bracket MUST be RIGIDLY fastened to structural support on header wall or ceiling, otherwise Vertical Centerline garage door might NOT reverse when required.

    ® Install the Protector System Introduction Be sure power is NOT connected to the garage door opener BEFORE installing the safety reversing sensor. To prevent SERIOUS INJURY or DEATH from closing garage door: • Correctly connect and align the safety reversing sensor. This required safety device MUST NOT be disabled.
