2. Flip the device 180 degrees as shown in Figure 25. Separate the inner rope component from the
outer brown web strap.
3. Using a 1/8" Allen wrench, remove the pin and roller from the snap hook. Then, pull the snaphook
off the end of the rope as shown below in Figure 26.

4. Flip the snaphook 180 degrees and replace the hook on the rope as shown in Figure 27 above
5. Reinstall the pin and roller with the rope in the center of the snap hook body as shown below in
Figure 28.

6. Using a 7/16" wrench, remove the lock nut and washer. Push the thumb release lever through and
remove it from the bottom of the adjuster. See Figure 29 above.
7. Insert the thumb release lever through the top of the adjuster and reinstall the washer and
locknut using thread locking fluid as shown in Figure 30 below. Locknut shall be torqued to 15
in-lbs (1.7 N-m).
