B2 - DURAHOIST WINCH
Refer to the User Manual of DuraHoist Winch.
The DuraHoist winch can be used to lower and lift equipment, tools and other
types of material. Maximum weight load limit for material handling is 300kg (other
applications, see « §3 – COMPLIANCE WITH THE EUROPEAN STANDARD »).
A risk assessment and rescue plan must be done before starting work and hazards
connected to the working environment must be taken into consideration when
selecting equipment for a given application. Failure to observe these hazards
could result in serious injury or death. This equipment must be installed and used
by persons who have been trained in its correct application and use.
7.2- SETTING UP AND ADJUSTMENT
A - DURAHOIST 3POD INSTALLATION
LEGS ANGLE POSITIONING:
1. Pull the Adjusting bolt to release locking mechanism (Fig. 4).
2. Adjust the 3Pod to desirable opening angle (Fig. 5).
3. The Adjusting bolt must be fully locked (Fig. 6).
LEGS LENGTH POSITIONING:
1. Pull leg push pin out of the 3Pod leg. Now you can adjust the length of the 3Pod
leg (Fig. 7).
2. Push the leg push pin in the leg. Make sure the pin is correctly locked (Fig. 8).
3. Repeat for all three legs (Fig. 9).
INSTALLING OF THE FEET WEBBING (FOR MAXIMUM OPENING ANGLE
ONLY):
1. Always install the Feet webbing when using maximal opening angle of the
DuraHoist 3Pod.
2. Connect 3Pod leg at the bottom level with the Feet webbing. Install the feet
webbing from the inside of the legs (Fig. 10).
3. There are cut-outs in the feet to guide the feet webbing.
4. Webbing must be firmly tensioned (use the feet webbing length adjuster) and
not tangled.
B - ACCESSORIES
B1 - MILLER MIGHTEVAC AND MILLER MIGHTEVAC BRACKET
INSTALLATION OF THE MILLER MIGHTEVAC BRACKET ON THE 3POD LEG:
1. Slide the Bracket on the 3Pod leg outer profile from the right side (Fig. 13).
Ensure the bracket slides over the 3Pod leg push pin.
2. Secure the bracket from the left side with two Push pins (Fig. 14)
3. Check the bracket is correctly installed (Fig. 15).
INSTALLING OF MILLER MIGHTEVAC ON MILLER MIGHTEVAC BRACKET:
1. First slide the attachment swivel of the Miller MightEvac into the rear part of the
bracket (Fig. 16).
2. Slide the Miller MightEvac into the front part of the bracket. Secure the Miller
MightEvac attachment swivel with the push pin into the rear part of the bracket
(Fig. 17).
3. Insert the fastener through the lockwasher and spacer into the hole in the
bracket which aligns with a threaded hole in the MightEvac unit. Tighten to
10±1 Nm. Repeat for opposite side (Fig. 18).
