8. Put the sensing end of the temperature switch in a container of oil with a
thermometer and heat the oil to 170°F (76°C).
9. Check for continuity across the terminals, if there is continuity across the
terminals before the temperatures reach 170°F (76°C) replace the switch.
10. Check for continuity across the terminals, if the temperature reaches 170°F (76°
C) and there is no continuity across the terminals replace the switch.
11. If the switch tests correctly and a circuit problem still exists, check the wire
harnesses; refer to
12. Use a new O-ring and install the switch in the cooler.
13. Connect the switch to the wiring harness connector.
14. Install the control panel.
15. Fill the hydraulic system to the proper level.
16. Switch the main circuit breaker to the O
system.
