Extra Universal Serial Bus
Headers
Extra USB headers (USB2/USB3)
can be used for front side USB
access.
You will need a USB
cable (not included) to use either
connection. Refer to the tables on
the right for pin definitions. An ad-
ditional header (USB4) designated
J27 is also provided.

Serial Ports

The COM1 serial port is located
under the parallel port (see Figure
5-4). See the table on the right for
pin definitions. The COM2 connec-
tor is a header located near the
PCI-X #1 slot on the serverboard.

GLAN1/2 (Ethernet Ports)

Two Ethernet ports (designated
LAN1 and LAN2 or GLAN1 and
GLAN2) are located beside the
VGA port on the IO backplane.
These ports accept RJ45 type
cables.
ATX PS/2 Keyboard and
PS/2 Mouse Ports
The ATX PS/2 keyboard and PS/2
mouse are located on J9. See the
table at right for pin definitions.
(See Figure 5-4 for the locations
of each.)
