Maintenance: Cooling system general
Cooling system D5A T KC (1-circuit)
The engine cooling water (freshwater) is cooled by, e.g, a box cooler, a grid cooler, or any other external heat ex-
changer. The system is cooling the cylinder liners and the cylinder heads. An engine driven freshwater pump cir-
culate the coolant through the engine.
