The TPIR transducer is normally positioned (according to WMO standards) at a height of about 2 meters from the ground level. Normally, in Siap+Micros meteorological stations, it is installed with special brackets (see drawing) present on the poles. On these brackets the sensor must be installed with special muffler collars fixed to the stem of the sensor itself (part with ø40mm).
