How long is the IKEA guarantee valid?
The guarantee for this appliance is valid for
a period of two (2) years. This guarantee is
valid from the date of purchase. Please
retain the receipt as proof of purchase and
date of purchase.
Any repair carried out within the guarantee
period, will not extend the guarantee for the
appliance or the new parts.
Who will execute the service?
IKEA appointed After Sales Service Provider
and/or an authorized service partner will
provide the service through its own service
operations.
To reverse the doors, we recommend you to
use IKEA appointed Service Provider.
What does this guarantee cover?
The guarantee covers faults of the
appliance, which have been caused by
faulty construction or material faults from
the date of purchase from IKEA. This
guarantee applies to domestic use only.
The exceptions are specified under the
headline "What is not covered under this
guarantee?" Within the guarantee period,
the costs to remedy the fault e.g. repairs,
parts, labour and travel will be covered,
provided that the appliance is accessible for
repair without special expenditure and that
faults of the appliance has been caused by
faulty construction or material covered by
the guarantee.
On these conditions respective local
regulations are applicable. Replaced parts
become the property of IKEA.
