Mounting the standard motor to the K4 short adapter

Note
Ensure that the plastic ring ① is located in the correct position.
The plastic ring ① prevents fretting corrosion on the cylinder surface of the motor shaft.
To prevent fretting corrosion on the feather key of the motor shaft, apply a suitable lubricant
to
the contact surfaces.
Note
The contact surfaces between adapter and motor must always be sealed using a suitable
sealing compound.
