2-3. Transfer the NVDM Writing Application from the PC
to the Smartphone and Install it
Install the NVDM Writing Application for writing the each informa-
tion and value to the MAIN L board to the smartphone, and prepare
the smartphone.
Procedure:
1. Unzip the NVDM Writing Application (HP Value Writer.zip)
prepared in the "1. Prepare the Equipment" on page 6 on the PC,
and check that there are "nvdm-writer_0.0.6.apk" in the folder.

2. Using the USB cable for the smartphone, connect the smart-
phone and the PC.
3. Transfer the "nvdm-writer_0.0.6.apk" prepared in step 1 from
the PC to the root directory of smartphone.

4. Disconnect the smartphone from the PC.

5. Start the fi le manager application on the smartphone, and open
the location where "nvdm-writer_0.0.6.apk" is stored.

6. Tap the "nvdm-writer_0.0.6.apk", and install it to the smartphone.
Note 1: The installing method might be diff erent depending on Android OS
version. If you do not know how to install, confi rm with the each
service headquarter.
Note 2: When it cannot be installed, tap the "Settings" → "Security", check
the "Unknown sources" checkbox, and then install it.
Also, after completing the installation, be sure to uncheck the "Un-
known sources" checkbox.
(Depending on the version of Android OS, this setting might not
exist)

7. Press the [1] button on the headset for about 7 seconds, and
release your fi nger while the indicator next to [1] button repeats
fl ashing twice in blue to set the pairing mode.
Note 3: For detailed method on setting the headset to pairing mode, refer to
operating instructions of headset.
