CHECKING METHOD AFTER INSTALLING THE ORNA-
MENT L ASSY
If you removed and installed the ornament L assy, perform the
checking work according to the following procedure.
Checking procedure:
1. Connect the smartphone to this unit by the Bluetooth and attach
this unit to your ears.
Note 1: For the method of Bluetooth connection, refer to the operating in-
structions or refer to "NFC CONNECTION CHECKING METH-
OD" on page 6.

2. Call from another smartphone or mobile phone to the smart-
phone used in step 1.
Note 2: Be sure to make a call using a general telephone line. When using
a line other than a general telephone line, symptoms of trouble may
not be confi rmed.
Note 3: This procedure explains the procedure to receive with the smart-
phone used in step 1, but you can also confi rm by calling to another
smartphone etc. from the smartphone used in step 1.
3. Check that ring tone is heard from this unit, double tap the touch
sensor control panel and receive the call.

4. Talk on a smartphone and check that the sound is heard normally
from this unit.
Note 4: If there is a symptom such as the sound is not heard normally, or
the sound is echoed, trouble of the ornament L assy assumed.
Refer to "2. DISASSEMBLY" on page 24 and after, replace the
ornament L assy with a new part.

5. Double tap the touch sensor control panel to end the call and
complete the checking work.
Note 5: Refer to "INITIALIZING METHOD" on page 5 and delete the
connection history.
