The following table will help with localising and remedying
minor malfunctions:

With a low battery the accuracy of the temperature
display is limited.
Possible cause
The battery is in-
correctly inserted.
The battery is
discharged.
The measured tempera-
ture is too low.
The measured tempera-
ture is too high
If you cannot resolve the problem with the above steps,
please contact Customer Support (see section Service).
Solution
Insert the battery as
per the markings on
the battery cover.
Insert a new battery.
