Automatic AC frequency

Automatic AC frequency can be selected for JOB 1-100 only. The left stop in the frequency functional
sequence
is used for activation, displayed as
The signal light
The machine control adjusts or sets the AC frequency in relation to the set main current. The lower the
welding current, the higher the frequency and vice versa. This ensures a concentrated, directionally
stable arc is achieved when welding currents are low. The load from the tungsten electrode is minimised
when the welding currents are high, ensuring a longer service life.
The use of a foot-operated remote control with this function reduces manual intervention by the user
during the welding process to a minimum.
