Description
The servomotors with planetary gearbox are certified for a wide range of installation and
operating conditions. These conditions such as rigid or vibration-isolated foundation design
influence noise emission, in some instances significantly.
Note
External noise
Noise not generated by the gearbox but emitted from it is not taken into consideration.
Noise emitted by the drive and driven machines or the base are not taken into consideration.
Under the specified conditions, the gearbox component emits a maximum noise level as
specified in the following tables.
The circumferential speed of the sun wheel and the sun wheel pinion significantly influence
the gearbox noise level. At other speeds or ratios, the noise level generated can deviate from
the specified values.
Formula for adding several noise sources
Use the following formula to calculate the noise level from several noise sources.
