Problem description
bad milk foam

Possible cause
outlet not properly in place
outlet not clean
milk connector not properly in
place
air restriction blocked
milk temperature
milk connector not properly in
place
water tank not placed correct
drip tray and waste bin not
emptied on time
leakage somewhere in the water
system
the flash heater hoses are
swapped
Check the following
• outlet
• perform milk cleaning
cycle
• place milk connector in
correct position
• clean air restriction manually,
see section 2.2 on page 11
• the optimum milk
temperature is 5°C;
the warmer the milk, the poorer
the quality of foam produced
• place the milk connector in
correct position
• water tank
• drip tray and waste bin
• water system
• make sure that the hoses of
the flash heater are correctly
installed, see section 2.14 on
page 21.
