(7) The power lines from the terminal box should not contact the surface of the compressor. If
they come into contact with it, the power lines will be damaged.
(8) The gasket is installed in the terminal box. The procedures for removing and re-installing the
plug cover are as follows:
*Removing the Cover
When the gasket sticks out on the terminal box side and the cover side respectively and the
cover cannot be removed easily, removing the gasket forcibly might cause damage to them.
Remove the gasket carefully so as not to damage it.
*Re-installing the Cover
Pile up the gasket by identifying the screw holes on the terminal box.
Perform the screw tightening work (Torque≒2N・m) while checking that the gaskets are
correctly positioned between the screw holes and the installation holes of the cover on the
terminal box.
(9) Be sure to install the cable glands in order to prevent power lines from contacting theφ 20.5
hole of the terminal box, and avoid the ingress of water. If the cable glands are not installed,
power lines may be damaged and there will be a risk of the ingress of water into the terminal
box.
(10) A cable gland to be attached to the φ 20.5 hole of the terminal box should be prepared and
installed by each customer. The cable gland should be applied to specified IP65 or higher
specifications and its level should be confirmed at prototype test. The waterproof and dust
resistance of the cable gland is not under IP65 warranty of the compressor.
