3. Take off at full motor power against the wind.
- You can either place the model in your hand
4. Check the trim settings shortly after take-off. Details of the trim settings can be found in section 13. Trimming.
5. Land the model as soon as the timer starts to beep
6. Press the motor lock button
- Leave the remote control switched on.
7. Bring the model into shade.
8. Disconnect the flight battery.
- Let it cool down to room temperature.
9. Turn off the remote control.
Motor, flight controller and flight battery may heat up when the model is in use. For this reason, take
a break of 5 to 10 minutes before starting a new flight.

13. Trimming

If the model tends to drift in one direction, use the trim button to adjust the neutral position of the corresponding rudder.

13.1 Trim buttons

The trim button on the remote control (R5-R8) allows you to trim the controls during a flight. The most recent trim
setting is automatically saved and retrieved when the remote control is switched back on.
Each trim input is confirmed by a beep on the remote control.

13.2 Trimming in-flight

13.2.1 Rudder
Before configuring the trim settings, set the motor to 50% of the maximum power.
• If the model drifts to the left: Press the trim button for the rudder (right) (R7) repeatedly until the model flies in a
straight line.
• If the model drifts to the right: Press the trim button for the rudder (left) (R8) repeatedly until the model flies in a
straight line.
