16. Trimming the helicopter

When the two joysticks on the transmitter are in the middle position, the helicopter should barely change its position
when hovering.
However, if the helicopter tends to constantly fly in one direction or turn on the spot, this can be corrected with the trim.
But before you readjust the trim, you should first recalibrate the position sensors.
Every time a trim button is pushed, the trim is adjusted by one step and the adjustment confirmed by a short
beep.
When the button is pressed and held, the transmitter emits a quick sequence of beeps, and thus indicates
the step-by-step adjustment of the trim.
Once the trim's end position has been reached, the transmitter will stop beeping.
The trim's centre position is indicated acoustically by a longer beep.
Please note: The digital trim setting is not saved and is always in the middle position when the transmitter
is switched on.
Tail trimming
If the helicopter fuselage nose tends to turn to the right, push the trim button for the tail function (see also Figure 1,
no. 7) to the left. Keep the button pushed until the model no longer has a tendency to turn to the right (see light arrows
in Figure 14).
If the fuselage nose turns to the left, push the trim button for the tail function to the right (see dark arrows in Figure 14).
