Troubleshooting

Check for logs/rocks covering air slots
Check for excessive burner media (no more than 1 layer thick)
Check for foreign burner media
Visually inspect burner for leaks; replace if necessary - DO NOT TEST WITH OPEN FLAME
This is normal
See "Adjusng Primary Air Seng"
Poor air shuer seal on venturi box
See "Venng Configuraon"; adjust only if necessary
See "Adjusng Primary Air Seng"
Check that the venturi box covers are removed (LP)
See "Venng Configuraon"; adjust only if necessary
Check for approved high-wind terminaon cap
Check venng configuraon is approved
Check venng system for leaks
Check log posioning
Check burner media quanty (should be one layer deep)
Check for obstructed seconard air slots around burner
Check gas inlet pressure
Check gas manifold pressure (with unit running)
Check gas orifice matches rang label for correct fuel type
This is normal, more so in damper climates
This will reduce the build-up rate; clean as necessary
Ensure heat release areas are at or above minimum spec
Check for foreign objects blocking heat release
Check installaon secon for further details
Check installaon secon for further details
Ensure there're no foreign objects on or above the unit within the chase
Check venng configuraon is approved
Check for venng obstrucons
Reduce exhaust restricon
Check gas inlet pressure
Check gas manifold pressure (with unit running)
Check gas orifice matches rang label for correct fuel type
Visually inspect bulb for signs of damage, confirm connuity with mulmeter
Visually inspect bulb for signs of damage, confirm connuity with mulmeter
Check for wire chaffing inside light box
Check top light circuit with mulmeter
See "Flame dropping out.."
See "Pilot not lighng.."
Check gas inlet supply and pressure
Press reset boon on fireplace switch panel and re-sync remote (tool may be required)
Cut power to IFC (could use circuit breaker) and reconnect
Check circuit breaker
Do any fireplace features work? If so, fireplace has power
Check for 120VAC at the IFC
Check for bare electrical connecons
Check for electrical short in top light box
Was there a recent power surge?
See "IFC locked out" for possible causes
Check the posion of PV switch - the "-" should be down if operang with natural vent
Ensure the IFC PV jumper hasn't come lose inside the IFC (orange wires)
Check the posion of PV switch - the "o" should be down if operang with power vent
Ensure secure wiring interceptor connecons at IFC (yellow wires)
Check for connuity across vacuum signal while in start-up mode
Check for PV fan operaon during start-up mode (can you hear it?)
If the sparker is acvang then PV start-up mode is funconing, problem lies elsewhere
