The sensor is a highly-sensitive semiconductor com-
ponent. Do not expose the sensor to direct sunlight
and do not touch it. Observe the permissible ambient
temperatures (Technical Data) to avoid faulty measu-
rements.
To measure the humidity, switch the BC 20 on by pres-
sing the „ON/OFF" button (5).
Once the device is switched on, the current humidity will
be displayed in %RH as well as the current temperature
in °C. The response time for measuring humidity is 10
seconds. Wait until the display value has stabilised. If the
measuring range is exceeded, „OL" (Overload / Out Of
Range) will be shown in the display.
Using the button (4) for switching over the display units,
it is possible to change to the temperature display, as
described in the „Device functions" section.
