Viewing Options

With SlingPlayer Mobile, you have four viewing options:

• Full Screen/Landscape

• Normal
• Slide Show
• Audio Only
Full Screen/Landscape
If you want to maximize the video screen without the Favorites
and status bar obstructing your view, you can watch in full
screen or landscape mode.
To change to full screen or landscape mode:
• Press * (asterisk) (or Alt and * for QWERTY keyboards) to
change to full screen/landscape mode.
If your phone's screen is longer than wider (portrait),
pressing * will change the viewing mode to landscape. If
your phone's screen is wider than longer (landscape),
pressing * will change the viewing mode to full screen.
• Configure and use the Preset Switch Screen Mode Favorite
Icon to toggle Full Screen/Landscape viewing mode and
Normal/Portrait viewing mode.
Note
The navigator key functions rotate by 90 degrees in
landscape mode (if video screen changes
orientation).

Normal Player Mode

This is the default viewing method on SlingPlayer Mobile.
To change back to normal viewing from another mode:
1. Select Menu > Player Mode > Normal.

Slide Show Player Mode

In low bandwidth environments, you can watch TV in Slide Show mode. In this mode, you will see
approximately 1 to 5 frames-per-second of video playback along with full audio.
To change to Slide Show viewing:
1. Select Menu > Player Mode > Slide Show.
