Troubleshooting

Problem
The soleplate is not heating even
though the iron is turned on.
The iron does not produce
steam.
The steam shot function does
not work.
Water leaks from the soleplate
during ironing.
Flakes and impurities come out
of the soleplate during ironing.
Brown streaks come out of the
soleplate while ironing and stain
the linen.
Disposal
Packaging materials
The packaging materials are environmentally friendly and can be recycled. The plastic components are identified by
markings, e.g. >PE<, >PS<, etc. Please dispose the packaging materials in the appropriate container at the community waste
disposal facilities.
Old appliance

Instead it shall be handed over to the applicable collection point for the recycling of electrical and electronic equipment. By
ensuring this product is disposed of correctly, you will help prevent potential negative consequences for the environment

the shop where you purchased the product.
Possible cause
The temperature selector is in the
OFF ("0") position.
There is not enough water in
water tank.
The steam selector is set at
position.
The steam shot function was
used very frequently within a
short period.
The iron is not hot enough.
Hard water was used which has
caused scale flakes to develop in
the heater block or soleplate.
Fabric fibres have accumulated
in the holes of the soleplate and
are burning.
Scented water, vinegar or ironing
aids was used in the water tank.
Solution
Select appropriate temperature setting.
Fill water tank (see "Getting started", № 2).
Select a steam level by turning the steam selector between
or
. (see "Ironing chart").
Place the iron on its stand and wait before using steam function
again.
Turn the temperature selector to a temperature (
suitable for steam ironing. Put the iron on its stand and wait until
the light on the iron has gone out before you start ironing.
Press and hold the steam button for about one minute to get
steam. Then hold one more minute in order to clean the steam
generating system. Iron an old towel, to ensure that any residues
inside the iron are not transferred to the laundry. Change the
anti-calc cartridge regularly. (see "Cleaning and maintenance", №
2 and 3).
Clean the soleplate with a damp soft cotton cloth.
Empty the water tank. Fill the water tank with clean water.
Perform steaming for some time until all dirt has been gushed
out. Clean the soleplate with a damp soft cotton cloth.
