Starting dashcam

Turn on the ignition. The dashcam will automatically power on and start loop recording (1 minute video files). When the
dashcam is on and recording, the REC LED (Green) will illuminate continuously.
Note
y When you run the dashcam for the first time the firmware is automatically loaded onto the microSD card. After the
firmware has been loaded onto the microSD card you can customize settings using the APP or Desktop Viewer.

Recording video and audio

When the vehicle ignition is turned on, the dashcam is turned on and enters normal mode. When startup is complete, the
dashcam starts recording video and audio (if microphone is turned on). During normal mode, dashcam continuously loop
records 1 minute video files. The REC LED (green) lights on while recording.
When the ignition is turned off, dashcam switches to surveillance start delay mode. During surveillance start delay mode,
it records 1 minute video files for 3 minutes to prevent false event detection caused by opening or closing vehicle doors.
Then, dashcam enters parking mode and stops loop recording. It will remain in a low power state and turn on to start
recording for 1 minute when it detects an unusual shock or vibration.
When the microSD card is full, older videos are deleted and overwritten by new ones, except locked event files.

Locked event files - automatic

When the dashcam detects an unusual shock during normal mode and parking mode, it records an event file that
is protected from being overwritten by newer files. During normal mode and parking quick wake-up mode, it starts
recording 5 seconds before the event and during parking normal wake-up mode, it starts recording 5 seconds after the
event. Event recording progress is indicated by the REC LED that illuminates green during the event recording.
