Recording Movies in Standard Mode

Set the mode dial to [

Recording Movies with Smoother Motion

Record movies with smoother motion, at nearly double the frame rate, as
follows.
Follow steps in "Changing Movie Image
Quality" ( = 50) and choose [
Locking or Changing Image Brightness before
Recording
You can lock the exposure before or during recording or adjust it in 1/3-
stop increments within a range of –2 to +2 stops.

Lock the exposure.
Press the [ ] button to lock the
exposure. The exposure shift bar is
displayed.
To unlock the exposure, press the [ ]
button again.

Adjust the exposure.
Turn the [ ] dial to adjust the exposure,
as you watch the screen.
