Recording Various Movies

Black bars are displayed on the top and
bottom edges of the screen, and the
subject is slightly enlarged. The black
bars indicate image areas not recorded.

Shoot.
Press the movie button.
To stop movie recording, press the movie
button again.

Changing Movie Recording Size

Set the movie recording size and frame rate. The frame rate indicates how
many frames are recorded per second, and available options depend on
the NTSC or PAL setting.
On the Quick Control screen ( = 23),

The standard exposure set by the camera can be adjusted in 1/3-stop
increments, in a range of -3 to +3.
