    • Service and warranty Trotec Laser GmbH endeavors to process your questions and orders as quickly as possible. We kindly ask you to provide your name with your feedback address and serial number with every inquiry. The warranty of Trotec Laser GmbH for the Atmos provides coverage within the warranty period for damage that can be proven to be due to design, material or manufacturing errors.

    Introduction Nameplate Atmos Pure The data plate with the CE mark is on the back of the unit. Transfer the serial number, model and year of manufacture to your manual and always refer to this information in case of inquiries, problems with the device or spare parts orders.

    Persons who are yet to be trained, instructed or are in the course of general training may only work on the Atmos under the constant supervision of an experienced person. The Atmos must only be maintained by specially trained personnel from Trotec Laser GmbH or an authorized service company.

    Atmos. In this case, it is essential to contact Trotec Laser GmbH, otherwise any guarantee and warranty claims are void. When handling hazardous substances, please make sure to observe the accident prevention regulations and in particular the safety regulations for air pollution control systems at the workplace, ZH 1/140.

    Safety Caution Inhaling toxic gases and dusts can cause immediate poisoning damage. Long-term damage to internal organs can also occur due to repeated inhalation, swallowing and contact with the dusts and gases contained in the filter inserts and in the exhaust hose. Personal protective equipment must be worn before doing any work on the inside of the Atmos, especially on the filter inserts and the exhaust hose.

    Do not make program changes to programmable control systems. Program changes to the control system may only be made in consultation with Trotec Laser GmbH. Work on electrical equipment must only be performed by trained specialists or instructed persons under the guidance and supervision of a trained specialist.
  • Page 11: Notes On Special Types Of Hazard

    Safety Screw connections that have been loosened during maintenance and repair work should always be tightened again. If it is necessary to remove safety devices during maintenance or repair work, the safety devices must be re-installed and checked immediately aer the maintenance and repair work has been completed. At the beginning of the maintenance/repair/servicing work, the Atmos, and in particular any connections and screw connections, must be free from all dirt and residue, such as dust, operating substances or maintenance materials.
  • Page 12 Safety Skin contaminated with cleaning agents or disinfectants should be treated aer washing. The prophylactic use of skin protection products and appropriate skin care can help avoid skin damage. The skin care products used should be chosen based on the pollutant load and the individual skin type. Primarily, fatty skin care products should be considered.

    Connecting an external control system To operate the Atmos Pure using an automatic remote control, a control cable with a Sub-D9 connection is required. The PIN assignment of the Sub-D9 connection (see Connecting an external control system) must be observed!
  • Page 15 Product description All electrical components bear the CE mark for low voltage and/or EMC. Equipotential bonding (Ø > 1.5 mm²) for all conductive components is installed for grounding the Atmos. The Atmos is designed according to protection class IP 40. Electrical circuit diagrams with associated parts lists can be found in the appendix.

    1. Only li the Atmos off the wooden pallet or out of the transport packaging at the installation site. Carefully remove the packaging. 2. Use the packing list to check that the delivery is complete. If parts are missing or incorrect, contact Trotec Laser GmbH immediately. The same applies to damage caused during transport.

    Starting the Atmos up Starting the Atmos up CONNECTING AN EXTERNAL CONTROL SYSTEM The Atmos is turned on or controlled either on the control panel via the pushbutton (on/off button) or by an external control (e. g.of the machine to be suctioned) (automatic remote control). When switching on manually, press and hold Start-Stop button for 0.5 seconds.

    The regular servicing and repair work must be documented by the maintenance and operating personnel in order to maintain the warranty claim. Use only approved original spare parts. Trotec Laser GmbH assumes no liability for the use of unapproved spare or replacement parts and equipment. The safe and environmentally-friendly disposal of operating materials and replacement parts must be ensured.

    In addition to regular cleaning, the precautionary replacement of parts subject to wear is urgently recommended. In special cases, aer consulting with Trotec Laser GmbH, Trotec Laser GmbH will name a service company in your area that will perform the repairs.

    Release the key as soon as an acoustic signal sounds. The filter status indicator flashes yellow - start of calibration. The Atmos Pure now calibrates the new filter with the resistance of the entire laser exhaust system. This process takes about one minute.

    Disposal Disposal Operation of the Atmos generates waste materials and replacement parts that must be disposed of properly and in compliance with legal regulations. ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION During all work on and with the Atmos, the legal obligations regarding the avoidance of waste and proper recycling/ disposal must be complied with.
