3 Evacuation and Leakage Detection
Take off the nut cover on stop valve in outdoor unit
Align the center of piping, tighten properly the flare nut by hand
Tighten taper nut by spanner
Remove the valve caps of liquid and gas valves and freon filling
nozzle nut
Screw off the core of liquid valve with socket hexagon spanner
and at the same time top the air core at the gas valve with a
screw driver. In this case, there should be gas coming out
Turn off the gas core and screw tightly freon filling nozzle nut
when gas discharging for 15s and when there appears refrig-
erant
Turn on core valve of both liquid and gas valve completely (Fig.
11-9)
Tighten valve cover, and then check if leakage happens in the
connecting part between pipeline and both indoor and outdoor
unit by soup water or leakage detector
If possible, exhaust air in unit from core of air valve with a
vacuum pump (Fig.11-10).
4 Drainage of condesed water of outdoor unit
Not for cooling only unit
When heating, condensed water and defrost
water produced when defrosting by outdoor
unit can be drained to proper place through

Install Method:
As shown in Fig.11-11 insert the drainage
joint of outdoor unit to the base Diameter
25 hole and then connect the drainage
hose to the drainage port to condensed
w a t e r a n d d e f r o s t w a t e r t o a p r o p e r
location.
